On Saturday, March 22, former Corvallis High School standout Elka Prechel’s current collegiate team the Vermont Catamounts lost 75-55 against the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in William Neal Reynolds Coliseum, this was the first game against the North Carolina State Wolfpack during the championship.

Elka Prechel’s hometown is Corvallis and game position is guard.
