Raegan Beers was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week after posting double-doubles in wins over Eastern Washington and Prairie View A&M.
Beers is Oregon State's first Pac-12 weekly award winner since Aleah Goodman and Talia von Oelhoffen swept the weekly awards the week of February 22, 2021.
The freshman scored 13 points with 12 rebounds in a 73-66 victory over Eastern Washington before leading the Beavs with 28 points and 12 boards in a 100-59 win against Prairie View A&M. She was the only freshman in the country to record two double-doubles last week.
Beers led the conference in offensive rebounds over the course of the week with 10 and finished the week second in the league with 23 total rebounds. Her 28 points off the bench on Saturday were the third-most by any non-starter in the country this season.
The native of Littleton, Colo. Is the only freshman in the country with three double-doubles this season.
Beers and the Beavers take on no. 9 Iowa on Friday at 5:30 p.m. to open their time at the Phil Knight Legacy Tournament in Portland. The game will be televised on ESPNU and hosted at the Chiles Center in Portland.
