A failure on the downslope side of the curve at MP 2.7 must be repaired to prevent further deterioration of the facility. Excavation and installation of retaining blocks will necessitate closure of the road to allow equipment access and expedite the repair. Access to points beyond milepost 2.7 will be maintained for emergency vehicles at all times during the closure.
