Game Notes

- Oregon State plays in its second consecutive road game when the Beavers visit Stanford Saturday night at Stanford Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. PT.

- The game will air live on ESPN. Mark Jones (play-by-play), Robert Griffin III (analyst) and Quint Kessenich (sideline) will call the action.

- The teams are meeting for the 89th time, and 43rd in California. Stanford holds a 30-10-2 advantage on its home turf.

- Tre'Shaun Harrison has caught 16 passes for 251 yards and a touchdown over his past three games.

- Oregon State's defense ranks fourth in the Pac-12 Conference allowing just 358 yards per game.

- OSU has gone three consecutive games without allowing a sack, tied for the longest streak by an Oregon State team since 1996-97.

- The Beavers are second in the Pac-12 in opponent red zone conversion percentage at 68.4. Only USC is better at 60 percent.

Last Meeting

- Oregon State snapped an 11-game win streak by the Cardinal with a 35-14 win in Corvallis last season.

- Oregon State led 14-0 after the first half and 28-7 entering the fourth quarter.

- Chance Nolan passed for 257 yards and ran for a 4-yard score. He also completed a 67-yard TD pass to Trevon Bradford.

- Jaydon Grant and Rejzohn Wright each intercepted passes and Omar Speights totaled a team-best nine tackles.

Harrison From 2021 To 2022

- Tre'Shaun Harrison has nearly surpassed his 2021 numbers through the first five games of 2022. The wide receiver has caught  24 passes for 337 yards and two touchdowns as the Beavers enter Saturday's matchup at Stanford.

- His 2021 numbers: 29 catches for 401 yards and three touchdowns.

- Harrison, as mentioned on page one, has 16 receptions for 251 yards over his last three games. That's an average of 15.7 yards per catch.

- The Seattle native has 99 receptions for 1,235 yards at the FBS level, with 62 receptions for 880 yards coming in 20 games as a Beaver. He played in 24 games for Florida State before coming to Corvallis.

Speights To 254

- Omar Speights has totaled 15 tackles over the past two games, which includes a season-best eight against USC on Sept. 24.

- Speights now has 254 career tackles in 37 games.

- His 254 tackles are 28 shy of tying Jonathan Jackson (282 from 1996-99) for 10th-most in a career at Oregon State.

- To tie Jackson, Speights would need to average four tackles per regular-season game. He has totaled five or more tackles in 27 of his 37 career games played.

Kipper To 37

- Brandon Kipper started his 37th career game - all consecutively - for the Beavers against Utah. Kipper is aiming to become the 22nd player in school history to start 40 or more games as a Beaver.

- Only six players, meanwhile, have started 40 or more consecutively.

Under Jonathan Smith

- Oregon State is 15-5 when leading at halftime. The Beavers are also 14-2 when taking a lead into the fourth quarter.

- The Beavers are 12-11 when controlling time of possession.

- Oregon State is 13-13 at home.

- The Beavers have scored 30 or more points in 23 of his 49 games, going 16-7.

- Oregon State is 12-7 when outgaining its opponent.

First To Four

- Oregon State is playing its fourth game of the season away from Reser Stadium on Saturday. The Beavers will be the first Pac-12 team to play four games away from its home stadium this season.

- Only one other team, Colorado, has played three games away from its home stadium, but has a bye this week.

- Oregon State last played four of its last six regular-season games at home during the 2014 season.

First-Half Numbers

- Oregon State has been getting out on the right foot in the first half of games this season. The Beavers have outscored opponents, 92-51, in the first half.

- OSU is averaging nearly 80 yards better than opponents - 229.6 to 150.8.

- The Beavers have passed for five touchdowns in the first half, and have allowed just one. OSU has given up just three rushing scores while totaling seven of its own.

- Opponents are also just 4-for-8 in the red zone in the first half, compared to a 10-for-10 mark for the Beavers.

- OSU is also 5-for-6 on fourth-down conversions.
