Sweet Home Public Safety Power Shutoff Resource Update

The Public Safety Power Shutoff will begin at midnight and could last through Saturday evening. The City of Sweet Home will have water throughout the duration of the event. However, we are asking community members to conserve water usage voluntarily.

  • Avoid using dishwashers & washing machines
  • Please only flush toilets when necessary.
Pacific Power is standing up a temporary Community Resource Center (CRC) at Sankey Park, 877 14th Avenue. The center will open at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday will remain open both days until 10 p.m. (unless service is restored earlier on Saturday).

Here is a partial list of Community Resource Center amenities:

  • Air conditioning
  • Water, non-perishable snacks

  • Restrooms
  • Refrigeration and heating for medicine and/or baby needs
  • On-site security
