Oregon Task Force 3 from Linn County spent another 24 hours on the fire line yesterday.
After being loaned out to local resources on the Meamber fire for two operational periods, they were returned to the McKinney Fire. Crews spent the shift mopping up and patrolling fire lines. With temperatures in the mid-90s, very steep terrain and frequent thunder and lightning, they are being put to the test every shift and rising to the challenge. Crew members come from the Lebanon Fire District, Brownsville Rural Fire District, Albany Fire Department, Halsey Fire, Harrisburg Fire & Rescue and the Oregon Office of State Fire Marshal.
