Introduction
This position coordinates with the Community Health Department, Community Health Clinic, and other tribal and outside agencies to fulfill the grant objectives of the Siletz Tobacco Prevention and Education Program.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED. Knowledge of: Basic statistical concepts and methods highly desirable. Experience in: Operating Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and production of documents utilizing imported graphics. Public speaking skills. Ability to: Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate concepts and ideas articulately, and to write with clarity using proper grammar, syntax, and punctuation. Organizing or mobilizing activities in small communities. Work respectfully and effectively with people of diverse ages and educational levels. Function in a professional manner with minimal supervision in a variety of community settings; Other: Personal flexibility allowing occasional evening and/or weekend grant-related activities and willingness to travel to other Siletz tribal service areas. Must possess a valid Oregon State driver’s license, insurance and be eligible to drive a GSA vehicle. Non-smoker.
