Census Bureau: More women than men in Albany in 2020

Of the 54,442 people living in Albany in 2020, 51.2 percent (27,877) were women and 48.8 percent (26,565) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Mid Coast Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 923. In the 65 and over age range, there were 4,616 females and 3,937 males.
