City of Sweet Home issued the following announcement on Feb. 25

The Sweet Home Police Department have arrested four additional suspects in the February 9th assault on a 13 year old Sweet Home student. There a total of five individuals in custody for this attack. 

The suspects in custody are charged as follows: 

• 14-year-old male of Albany arrested for Assault III and Disorderly Conduct II.
• 15-year-old female of Sweet Home arrested for Assault III and Disorderly Conduct II. 
• 15-year-old female of Albany arrested for Assault III and Disorderly Conduct II.
• 16-year-old male of Albany arrested for Assault III and Disorderly Conduct II.
• 18-year-old male, Dakota House of Albany arrested for Riot, Assault III, Robbery II, Disorderly Conduct II and Recklessly Endangering. 

Videos of the assault aided our officers in the investigation. First, the footage showed a group of people pushing, punching, and kicking the victim. Then, one attacker, later identified as Dakota House, picked him up and tossed him into some bushes. 

The last subject remaining is a 21-year-old male from the Albany area. His name is being withheld as not to hamper the investigation.

Investigators are continuing to flush out the motivation aspect of this case. However, they believe this may have been a misidentification.
