The Oregon State Beavers women’s track and field team is set to participate in the Willamette Invitational on Mar. 27. Field events will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the javelin, while track events are scheduled to start at 2:05 p.m. with the 400 meters.
The event provides an opportunity for athletes from Oregon State to showcase their skills in various disciplines throughout the day. The schedule includes javelin throwers Havana Alonso and Anna Raimondi, high jumper Callie Brandes, and several runners competing across distances ranging from 100 meters to 800 meters.
According to the team’s itinerary, Ruby Lorenz will run in the 400 meters, Riley Patera will compete in the 100 meters, Ava McKee and Megan Hatcher are entered in the 800 meters, while Audrey Biggerstaff is slated for the 200 meters later in the afternoon. In addition, Carley Strand, Maddy Juhler, Mia Fowler, and Claire Lee will represent Oregon State in pole vault.
The competition offers a platform for student-athletes to test their performance early in the season as they prepare for future meets.
