Bio

Betsy Johnson is running for Governor as a non affiliated candidate, loyal only to the people of Oregon. Betsy was first elected to the Oregon legislature in 2000 and served until December of 2021. While there she served as Co-chair of the Ways and Means committee and had a reputation for bucking her party to represent her rural North Oregon Coast district. Prior to serving in the legislature, Betsy owned and operated an aviation business based in Scappoose and also managed the Aeronautics Division of the State Department of Transportation.

Candidates Christine Drazan and Tina Kotek have also been invited to speak. At this time they are unconfirmed.
