If you really want something, you figure out how to make it happen.

If you really want something, you figure out how to make it happen. Candy grew up with a learning disability and never thought she was smart enough to earn a bachelor’s degree. Now, through hard work and determination, she’s making it happen.

“When I thought about going back to school I was overcome with doubt because I’m not good with grammar, but I’ve been reading more and practicing my writing.”

Candy says she loves attending UOPX because she doesn’t have a set schedule and can complete her assignments on her own time. For her, a degree will symbolize that she didn’t give up on herself.

A few facts about this fearless #PhoenixFlyingHigh, she:

• Plans to use her degree to become a licensed counselor
• Intends to go on to earn a master’s degree
• Loves listening to music and collecting seashells at the beach with her son

What’s something you really want and how will you make it happen?
